If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas, we should be your source for destination information whether this is your first time there or you are an old pro.
There is so much to do regardless of your taste that you might find it a little intimidating to plan what to do there. You will run out of money and time before you run out of options of new things to do or see.
Gambling is the obvious attraction and from the time you step off the plane until you drag yourself to the airport to leave, you will be ‘treated’ to the ‘ching-ching-ching’ of the slot machines. They even have them in stores! There are a few places, like Bellagio, that have them silenced, but be prepared for the constant siren call of the slots.
Even if you are not inclined to gamle, there is enough to keep you busy for weeks so plan the most desirable activities ahead of time and if you still have money/time after that you can add some things to your itinerary.
We are specialists with the following resorts; Caesar’s, Wynn, Harrah’s, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Rio and more. We can get you discounts and perks like 2 free buffets with a 2 day stay, spa credits and more, too. The options of places to stay are incredible and you don’t have to pay a fortune for a nice room in ninety percent of them.
The Strip is the obvious choice of most, but the Strip is about two miles long and runs from the Stratosphere (closer to downtown) to Mandalay Bay (across from the airport) and beyond.
The downtown area (Old Las Vegas) is where you will find the Golden Nugget, Binnions and other old landmarks and there are other casinos spread out around town, mostly near the airport, as well.
Each resort is themed and most have some free attractions that can entertain and save you money at the same time. Things like the fountains at Bellagio, the volcano and tigers at Mirage and the Appian Way at Caesar’s are a few examples.
Then there are the shows! You should plan on at least one of the Cirque shows. There are several to choose from; Ka – MGM, O – Bellagio, Love – Mirage, La Reve – Wynn and others. For the money I would suggest Mystere at Treasure Island.
Other shows well worth the time include Blue Man Group, Lance Burton and hosts of others.
